Selling

The expenses we incur on behalf of sellers are:

  1. Estate agent's fees, VAT and possibly advertising costs. This is likely to be easily your biggest expense
  2. Mortgage lender's charges. These vary from lender to lender.
  3. Solicitor's fee, VAT and expenses. If you are selling a freehold house, the only expense we incur on your behalf is likely to be a Land Registry fee of just a few pounds. We shall also look after the redemption of your mortgage (if any).
  4. [Only applies if you are selling a flat] Freeholder's charges. These will depend on the terms of the lease and the freeholder or managing agents may also charge for supplying additional information to help process your sale.
  5. HOME INFORMATION PACKS The cost of selling your home has increased substantially following the introduction of these packs, but we can provide them more cheaply than many other suppliers. They contain some important legal information and we can ensure that they are properly prepared.
